Sordid murder in Hong Kong, Abby Choi, a 28-year-old influencer found dismembered

Her body in pieces was found in the basement of a house in Lung Mei, a seaside resort located 30 kilometers away. According to a local newspaper, the discovery “sent shockwaves through a city known for being one of the safest in the world.”
The police made the details public. The father of the young woman’s ex-husband, a retired police officer, is said to have planned the murder in great detail. The house in which she was found would have been set up to butcher her. “A real butchery,” according to the Hong Kong newspaper. “We are still looking for the head,” said Alan Chung, a local police chief. He gave other elements, equally sordid: “In the refrigerator, two pots of stew are suspected to contain human tissue.” On the scene was an electric saw and a meat grinder that had been used to cut up human flesh.
The ex-father-in-law was arrested along with his wife and two sons.
