The actor Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in Pearl Harbor or Saving Private Ryan, died at 61 years

American actor Tom Sizemore died Friday at the age of 61. The actor suffered a brain aneurysm in February and life support ended Friday. He remained in a coma for several weeks and died fairly soon after being taken off life support, his manager Charles Lago said. A few days earlier, doctors had concluded that nothing more could be done for him.
Tom Sizemore, whose film and television career spans several decades, is best known for his roles as a war-hardened sergeant alongside Tom Hanks in 1998’s Saving Private Ryan, and as the commander of a Ranger battalion in 2001’s Black Hawk Down. He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2000 for his role in Witness Control. He has also appeared in other films such as Natural Born Killers, Pearl Harbor and Heat.
During a turbulent life journey, Tom Sizemore has struggled with addiction and has been jailed several times, including after assaulting his girlfriend.
A 2007 documentary series followed him as he tried to get his life and career back on track. Although he never again matched the success of his 1990s roles, he recently guest starred in the Netflix series Cobra Kai and had a recurring role in the revival of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks television series.

In August 2018, Kenneth Mitchell was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He had been in a wheelchair since October 2019. By August 2021, he had lost the use of his voice due to the disease.

Alexei Navalny’s body, which his relatives had been demanding for over a week, has been handed over to his mother, the Russian opposition leader’s spokeswoman said on Saturday.

Watching a Sylvester Stallone film in VF will never be the same again. Alain Dorval, the French actor who dubbed the American, died on Monday night, his family announced.
Alain Dorval had been battling cancer for several years, which finally claimed his life earlier this week at the Gustave Roussy hospital outside Paris.
He was best known as the French voice of Sylvester Stallone, but also distinguished himself as Tiger in the Fievel saga, and as Pat Hibulaire in the Disney universe.
